<title>Lesson 5: Today's Woman - Her Potential - Audio</title>
<itunes:author>Lois McCall</itunes:author>
<itunes:summary>Lois McCall brings knowledge, inspiration and wisdom to Bethel's Summer Bible Study.

It has been said that among Bible teachers in Houston and beyond Lois McCall is the yardstick by which others are measured. We at Bethel certainly agree and treasure every opportunity we have to partake of her faithfulness, knowledge, wisdom, and ability to inspire her audience.

Once described in a national magazine as a &quot;scholastic phenomenon,&quot; Lois graduated from Baylor University cum laude at 18, the age of the average entering freshman. Since then she has applied her gifts to raising four children (who have presented her with eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren), at the same time serving as a professional book reviewer and an inspirational and motivational speaker and beloved Bible teacher.

Lois was the Teaching Leader of the first Bible Study Fellowship class in Houston, beginning at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church in the early 1970s. After ten years she retired to go on the Board of BSF International, where she has served for 26 years, while continuing to teach to thousands of women in many venues. She is an Honory Trustee of the Star of Hope Mission, having served nine years as an active Trustee.

As host mother to many international students pursuing graduate studies at Rice, Lois acquired &quot;spiritual children&quot; living throughout the world today. She has written several Bible studies, including &quot; In His Service&quot;, a devotional booklet distributed by chaplains military women deployed overseas; &quot;Life That Wins,&quot; which has been incorporated into the First Place Health Program; and a biographical memoir &quot;Never Too Late,&quot; published in &quot;Peacemaker Magazine&quot;.

Now in her mid-80s and never slowing down, Lois sees every day as a special gift from God, and she seeks to live each day to His glory, with a passion for telling others of God's great love for them, and the peace and joy they can have in Jesus Christ.</itunes:summary>

Now in her mid-80s and never slowing down, Lois sees every day as a special gift from God, and she seeks to live each day to His glory, with a passion for telling others of God's great love for them, and the peace and joy they can have in Jesus Christ.</itunes:subtitle>
